Resolution

The Red Hat Ecosystem Catalog lists the hardware which has been tested and certified to work with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Systems which are not listed on the Red Hat Ecosystem Catalog are supported only on a commercially reasonable basis. Certified hardware is fully supported to the extent of your subscription's SLA and Red Hat's relationships with the hardware vendors.

Hardware certifications are performed by the hardware vendor, through the Hardware Certification Program. It is up to the participating hardware vendors which systems to certify, and on which architectures and release(s) of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Each hardware certification listing is for specific architectures and major releases of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. For example, not all 64-bit systems have been certified for use with the 32-bit version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux; nor have all systems which are certified on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 been certified on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.
