Hostname is not set during kickstart using DHCP
Issue
- The
--hostnameargument to thenetworkoption in a kickstart file does not work when combined with--bootproto=dhcp. The hostname request isn't being sent to the DHCP server which is configured for DDNS. - Installation do not work when set a short hostname for
--hostnameargument
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.4 and earlier
- Anaconda
- DHCP server configured for DDNS
