Issue

Netxen NICs are not starting on Red Hat Enterprise Linux
After fresh installation no ifcfg-eth* files are found under /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ for these devices.
The following errors were seen in the system logs:

netxen_nic 0000:06:00.0: Flash fw[4.0.406] is < min fw supported[4.0.505]. Please update firmware on flash.
