LVM volumes created over FCOE does not get activated automatically during boot process

Issue

  • The lvm volumes created over FCOE SAN devices does not get activated automatically during boot process, this issue was started only after updating lvm2 package to lvm2-2.02.111-2.el6.x86_64
  • Reverting to the older version of lvm2 package resolves the issue.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6
  • lvm2-2.02.111-2.el6.x86_64`
