Why one node of my two nodes cluster is fenced after the other node is rebooted?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • In a two node cluster, when I reboot or fence node 2, when it starts the service cman, it fences the node 1. At this moment, just before node 1 is fenced I can see those messages:
Oct 27 12:04:04 node2 openais[4674]: [TOTEM] entering GATHER state from 11.
Oct 27 12:04:04 node2 openais[4674]: [TOTEM] Creating commit token because I am the rep.
Oct 27 12:04:04 node2 openais[4674]: [TOTEM] Storing new sequence id for ring 271c
Oct 27 12:04:04 node2 openais[4674]: [TOTEM] entering COMMIT state.
