Why does single statvfs() call result in a stat() system call for each mounted filesystem?
Issue
- A third-party application is making a statvfs() call for a particular filesystem, however the system is automatically doing a stat() call for every mounted filesystem.
Environment
- RHEL 5
- glibc (all RHEL 5 versions)
