USB mouse stops to work frequently and at random times, with several disconnect events on the logs

Issue

USB mouse stops to work when not in use. It disconnects itself from the usb bus. The disconnect events are logged by the kernel, and it needs to be physically unplugged/plugged to work again:

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Following USB Input devices:
    • Pixart USB Optical mouse with USB vendor id 0x093a, product id 0x2510

(Note: the list above may not be a full list, it's comprised only with the devices so far confirmed where the problem happens)
