ARJUNA016051: thread is already associated with a transaction! in EAP 6 : Transactions are not active

Issue

  • Problem, that in logs there appear exceptions
java.lang.IllegalStateException: BaseTransaction.checkTransactionState - ARJUNA016051: thread is already associated with a transaction 

and then Error during transaction management of transaction id

org.jboss.ejb.client.XidTransactionID@35fded6e: 
java.lang.IllegalStateException: BaseTransaction.checkTransactionState - ARJUNA016051: thread is already associated with a transaction!. 
  • A long running (user transaction managed) transaction times out and subsequent access to the transaction results in an exception
