Why multiplexed sshd connection breaks in RHEL 6.6 ?

Issue

  • multiplexing ssh connections die after upgradation from RHEL 6.5 to 6.6.
  • The master ssh connection fails with error message.
  • Below error message hits
(script) linuxbox.morgan % channel_by_id: 2: bad id: channel free
client_input_channel_req: channel 2: unknown channel
channel_by_id: 2: bad id: channel free
client_input_channel_req: channel 2: unknown channel
channel_by_id: 2: bad id: channel free
Disconnecting: Received ieof for nonexistent channel 2.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6
  • openssh-5.3p1-104.el6.x86_64
