rhncfg-management can no longer upload files with no SELinux context for RHEL 5 clients.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • As per bugzilla : https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1129588
  • The issue should have resolved for both rhel 6 and rhel 5. The issue is gone for rhel 6, however on cu's RHEL 5 system the issue is persisting.
  • The exact error is :
# rhncfg-manager add -c test-channel /root/foo
