Getting "ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object" ERROR on server start-up after dropping jUDDI database tables used by SOA-P instance

Issue

  • As part of the instructions [1] to clean the jUDDI tables created by SOA-P installations, all the tables whose name start with j3 were dropped from the Oracle Database schema used by the SOA-P instance. However, When the SOA-P node is started, it gives the below exception. It seems the jUDDI registry is not created successfully. How to fix this issue and ensure that the SOA-P server creates the jUDDI database tables cleanly?
