  • /var/log/messages reports SCSI errors that contain;

    kernel: sd X:X:X:X: SCSI error: return code = 0x08000002
    • and;
    kernel:     <<vendor>> ASC=0x27 ASCQ=0x7ASC=0x27 ASCQ=0x7
