How do I set Karaf specific properties in a Fabric environment?

How do I set Karaf specific properties in a Fabric environment?
I would like to set properties normally found in etc/org.apache.karaf.shell.cfg and etc/org.apache.karaf.management.cfg, how can this be done for Fabric?
