Cannot see disk space in VG

Issue

  • I tried adding a new volume group to my server and I don't see the free space after adding it.
  • Performed the vgcreate and lvcreate. Below is the output of the pvs command:

[root@mype-messtora02 ~]# vgs
  VG   #PV #LV #SN Attr   VSize   VFree
  vg01   1   5   0 wz--n- 136.19G    0
  vg04   1   1   0 wz--n-  35.00G 5.00G
  vg05   1   1   0 wz--n-  35.00G 5.00G
  vg06   1   1   0 wz--n-  35.00G    0
  • VG06 is the vg having the issue. It is a new LUN presented to the server.
