Column Names and Aliases all Lower Case with EDS/DV ODBC driver

Issue

  • The Postgres ODBC driver version 8.0 and above will not convert column names or aliases to lowercase if you double-quote the text. EDS and DV are returning all lowercase.
SQL> select id as "TEST" from rhq.rhq_agent
+------------+
| test       |
+------------+
| 10001      |
+------------+
SQLRowCount returns 1
1 rows fetched

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Data Services (EDS) 5.3.1
  • Red Hat JBoss Data Virtualization (DV) 6.0
  • EDS ODBC Postgres Driver version is psqlodbc-08.04.0200
  • DV ODBC Postgres Driver version is psqlodbvc- 09.02.0100
