Deploying a Designer VDB to DV TeiidEmbeddedServer

Issue

  • Deploying a VDB generated by Teiid Designer the following error is thrown:
org.teiid.deployers.VirtualDatabaseException: TEIID40094 No metadata repository of type null defined for model living_view for VDB living.1
    at org.teiid.runtime.AbstractVDBDeployer.getMetadataRepository(AbstractVDBDeployer.java:106)
    at org.teiid.runtime.AbstractVDBDeployer.assignMetadataRepositories(AbstractVDBDeployer.java:85)
    at org.teiid.runtime.EmbeddedServer.deployVDB(EmbeddedServer.java:558)
    at org.teiid.runtime.EmbeddedServer.deployVDBZip(EmbeddedServer.java:545)
