Deleted files on xfs filesystem reappear after system crash
Issue
- Files and directories deleted on an xfs filesystem reappeared after the system crashed shortly after their removal
- Even though files in /var/crash were deleted, the files came back.
- Directory and its contents were deleted.
- System was crashed to test kdump.
- Deleted directory and its contents reappeared on next boot.
