Issue

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 installation failed with the following error.
storage configuration failed: Unable to allocate requested partition scheme.
  • This is the clearpart kickstart command used for this installation.
clearpart --all --initlabel --drives=sda,disk/by-id/scsi-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • And, when it's changed into the following line, the problem didn't occur.
clearpart --all --initlabel
