The ntpd could not write to /etc/ntp.conf in RHEL6
Issue
- ntpd could not write to /etc/ntp.conf or /etc/sysconfig/network, receiving message "configuration unchanged"
- In GUI window, I'm receiving the following error:
Couldn't write either /etc/ntp.conf or /etc/sysconfig/network. Configuration unchanged.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux [RHEL] 6.1
- python-slip < 0.2.20-1
