Why after upgrading the firmware of the NIC and then after reboot the NIC drivers got blacklisted ?
Issue
- After firmware upgrade on
ProLiant DL585 G7, it was found that all of the network interfaces were unavailable, further debugging shown the NIC drivers are blacklisted in the file/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf - Removing the blacklist entry , resolved the issue and the interface were brought up.
- Why after upgrading this issue occurred ?

- ProLiant DL585 G7
