Environment

Issue

  • Need to create Manifest for multiple organization on Red Hat Satellite 6 .
  • How to generate Manifest for multiple organizations on Red Hat Satellite 6?

Resolution

  • On Customer portal go to Subscription Allocations.

  • Click on New Subscription Allocation subtab and pass the name of the organization that you want to create under the Name field and select version as Satellite 6.3 and click on create.

  • Now attach the subscriptions that you want to add to this Satellite profile from the Subscriptions tab.

    Subscriptions tab --> Click on "Add subscriptions" --> Add the required quantity for the subscriptions --> Click on "Submit".

  • Once the subscriptions are added, download the manifest by clicking on Export Manifest tab.

  • For creating multiple Satellite profile for Multiple Satellite organization, follow above steps again.

  • Now upload the manifest file to the required organization of the Satellite server.
