Cannot access host through telnet after a reboot
Issue
- I had to restart the host for maintenance purpose and after that I cannot access the host through telnet
- I'm seeing the following message in the /var/log/messages file
xinetd[1971]: Number of per source instances is invalid: ULIMITED [file=/etc/xinetd.conf] [line=28]
xinetd[1971]: A fatal error was encountered while parsing the default section. xinetd will exit.
xinetd[1971]: Exiting...

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6.5
