Using CAPTCHA services on JBoss
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
- 5.1
Issue
- Do we need to enable any services or perform any configuration using CAPTCHA services?
Resolution
If you are using a Seam application you wouldn't need to configure anything at the container level to use captchas, but you would need to code it in your application and/or add it to your deployment descriptor. There are a few helpful links on the subject here and here .
If you are using a third party captcha service, such as Google's reCaptcha, then you wouldn't need to configure anything within JBoss. You would need to find some examples of the captcha service that you are using in order to know how to access the internet details that you referenced.
