Logitech M570 trackball is not working on RHEL7.

Issue

  • Logitech M570 trackball working fine on RHEL6, but it's not working in RHEL7.
  • Both systems are detecting the device but it's not operational in RHEL7.
$ lsusb -vv | grep -i logitech
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 046d:c52b Logitech, Inc. Unifying Receiver
  idVendor           0x046d Logitech, Inc.
  iManufacturer           1 Logitech
  • Is there any specific configuration required for this ?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0
  • kernel-3.10.0-123.6.3.el7.x86_64
