IcedTea WebStart cannot parse certain .jnlp files

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • IcedTea Web Start in RHEL6.5/64 cannot parse the included .jnlp file. IcedTea complains about expecting a "/" on line 48. If I instead open the file in Oracle Java's javaws downloaded from java.com, the file opens no problem.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
