How can I restrict user based on user/group remote login?
Issue
- PAM is denying access to cron
We have disabled the direct login to the users using the article KBase 4156
But after configured, we could see the cron jobs for the respective IDs getting failed. please check and confirm us
Sep 10 15:05:01 gtest1 crond[3426]: pam_access(crond:account): access denied for user `abc1' from `cron'
Sep 10 15:07:01 gtest1 crond[4124]: pam_access(crond:account): access denied for user `abc2' from `cron'
Need to restrict user based on user and group
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4+
