Unable to redirect heap dump using -XX:HeapDumpPath in Sun JDK 1.5.0_18
Issue
- Using
kill -3 <pid>with JVM arguments-XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError,-XX:+HeapDumpOnCtrlBreak, and-XX:HeapDumpPath=/foo/barto generate thread dumps and heap dumps in JBoss EAP 4.3.0. - However, the heap dump is not being redirected correctly to the path mentioned in
-XX:HeapDumpPathargument.
