Unable to set monitoring time range to valid value in JBoss ON UI if end time had previously been set to a value before start time

Issue

  • not able to change the Date Range
  • Custom time range cannot be set back
  • Metric cannot be displayed
  • Unable to download reports due to incorrect time range

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.2
  • Date range on metrics monitoring page of JBoss ON user-interface (UI) had previously been set so that start date was after end date
  • Metric page has auto-refreshed since date range was set to an invalid value
  • Attempting to change the date range on the metrics monitoring page to any other value
