Why did kickstart installation halt with a garbage characters on blue screen?

Issue

While trying to deploy Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5 machine using kickstart file, anaconda downloads the stage2.img file as well.
But suddenly, it displays a screen with random garbage characters on a blue screen as follows.
