Availability of the issue_lip with the Brocade bfa driver
Issue
- Is it possible to scan new targets with a Brocade HBA, using bfa module without rebooting ?
- Can I issue a Loop Initialization Protocol (LIP) with bfa drivers ?
This is usually done with the following command :
# echo 1 > /sys/class/fc_host/host/issue_lip
But this file does not exist if the HBA is based on Brocade bfa driver.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), all versions
- Brocade driver (bfa)
