new passwords stored in vault are not being recognized correctly in EAP 6

Issue

• New passwords created under same vault are not being recognized and we are getting ID/pass issues with DB connection. Same password with plain text works fine. If i create brand new vault using 6.2.4 it works fine.

• Creating vault on the command line to store a password does not always work:

  $JBOSS_HOME/bin/vault.sh --enc-dir ____ --keystore ___ --keystore-password ___ --iteration 44 --salt 12345678 --alias vault -b ___ -a ___ -x ___
  

• Storing passwords on a BASH command line with vault.sh corrupts passwords that contain a dollar sign
