libvirtd no longer writes vdsm-related entries to its log file on RHEV hosts with vdsm-4.14.x installed

Issue

  • 'libvirtd' no longer writes vdsm-related entries to its log file with 'vdsm-4.14.x' installed.

  • libvirtd.log contains the following after libvirtd is started;

  • /etc/libvirt/libvirtd.conf does not contain a line similar to the following;
log_filters="3:virobject 3:virfile 2:virnetlink     3:cgroup 3:event 3:json 1:libvirt 1:util 1:qemu"
  • The end of the /etc/libvirt/libvirtd.conf file contains;
