Issue
- Two Windows clients got into a state were the TCP connection was very slow. The customer informed us that this only happens on the IGB driver with certain Intel card. Other connections to other machines work as expected. A trace was taken and it shows that the TCP window is frozen at at a small size. The size varies but it is in the order of 2, 4 or 18 bytes.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6
- kernel-2.6.18-194
- Intel 825801 Gigabit card
- Windows 7 client
