RHEL-7: kdump hangs when specifying a non root /var partition.
Issue
- After updating kexec-tools package from version (2.0.4-32.el7.x86_64) to (2.0.4-32.el7_0.2.x86_64), kdump fail to dump vmcore on non root /var partition.
- kdump fails to dump vmcore on the non-root LVM devices.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.0 (Maipo)
- kexec-tools-2.0.4-32.el7_0.2.x86_64
