Oracle Java timezone detection on RHEL 6.5
Issue
Select of the timezone by Java, seems to changed, based on the type of Filesystem used.
We are aware of the solutions in this article, which would work as well, but would require changes across a large number of application startup scripts, where /etc/timezone would be global for the server.
Could you provide us with a configuration on the server we can use to set the timezone in Java?
