Issue

  • It has been observed that BPMS 6 engine performance degrades under heavy load while performing deploy or undeploy job on projects through Remote/REST API? Here are the list of activities being done and how many hits (provided under braces) they face.
1.Deploy/undeploy: (220)
  a. Use Git clients to push BPMN2 process to BPMS repository
  b. Build the project containing the process definitions into BPMS server
  c. Deployment of built projects on BPMS server
2. Start Process Instance: (200)
3. User Task operations: (210)
  a. Complete
    i. Approve
    ii. Reject
  b. Release
  c. Delegate
  d. Claim
  • The client making the Remote/REST API calls to BPMS 6 server is located on remote system and on a different JEE container. The problem is that the response time for completion of the entire activity has not only increased drastically, by the course of time, but the major issue comes up during the Deploy/undeploy phase when the BPMS server becomes unresponsive. Is there a way to improve the performance of BPMS server through any configurations available out-of-the-box ?
