Why repository sync stuck and no cancel button appear on Red Hat Satellite 6.0?

Issue

  • Apache failed to start because /etc/httpd/conf.d/25-puppet.conf was configured to use certificate files that do not exist:

 SSLCertificateChainFile "/var/lib/puppet/ssl/ca/ca_crt.pem"
 SSLCACertificateFile "/var/lib/puppet/ssl/ca/ca_crt.pem"
 SSLCARevocationFile "/var/lib/puppet/ssl/ca/ca_crl.pem"
[...]
  • Why certificate entries in Apache configuration are incorrect?
  • On webui, repository sync shows in progress but never completes. No cancel button appear.
