Why ssh is slow on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6 xen hypervisor with error: "virConfError:105 : /etc/xen/dommemstat:1: expecting a name"?

Issue

  • The access via SSH is very slow and every-time with login attempt, it need to hit Enter key several times to get the prompt back.
  • By cleaning the memory cache fixes the problem temporarily.
  • Logs found in /var/log/message:
libvirtd: 13:02:02.228: error : virConfError:105 : /etc/xen/dommemstat:1: expecting a name 
libvirtd: 13:02:02.288: error : virConfError:105 : /etc/xen/dommemstat:1: expecting a name
