Unresponsive broker when using auto-delete queues with timeout

Issue

  • using auto-delete queues with qpid.auto_delete_timeout option used
  • sometimes, a broker's performance drops very significantly until we restart it
  • sometimes the broker becomes totally unresponsive
  • sometimes, memory usage of the broker grows

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise MRG Messaging
    • qpid-cpp-server of version 0.18-20 or older
