Issue

Why does it appear like Linux is dropping packets when TCP sockets are reused?
We have a multi tier setup with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, where TCP sessions are reused fast. We see Proxy 502 / 503 errors in proxy server logs.

Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Cisco ACE hardware, acting as loadbalancer and modifying TCP packets
