scsi_reserve is not registering all paths in a multipath map after a node is fenced in RHEL 5 Update 6
Issue
- When the second node is rebooted after a fence, only one path to the shared disk is enabled on restart, the other is failed/faulty.
- When a node is fenced with fence_scsi, upon reboot scsi_reserve does not register one of the paths in the multipath map.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 with the High Availability Add On
- SCSI Persistent Reservation fencing (fence_scsi)
- device-mapper-multipath-0.4.7-42.el5
