Can different versions of EAP 6 run in the domain mode?
Issue
- Is EAP 6.0 and 6.1 supported in the same domain controller?
- Is it possible to do a domain server with one host with version 6.0 and other host with version 6.1, Is this supported?
- Is it possible to control the Host on 6.0.x with a domain on 6.2.x,if yes Does it supported ?
- Can multiple JBoss EAP versions is used with one
DomainController
? - In a domain mode, can we run Slave in EAP 6.4 and Master in EAP 6.3? Will that work? We tried a set up like this and it didn't work. Please tell us if it's possible to run a set up like this?
- Is it possible to use
JBoss EAP 6.2.x
withDomainController
ofJBoss EAP 6.0.1
? - While upgrading to
JBoss EAP 6.2.2
, is it possible to upgradedomain controller
first and then slave hosts? - We have two servers - one with DC, HC, jvms and other with HC and jvms. Both these servers make that jboss domain in that environment. Can we upgrade one servers first to Jboss 6.3 from Jboss 6.1 and keep other at 6.1 and run it for a week or so?
- Why the server startup failed after the upgrade? We are running jboss in domain mode. we upgrade jboss from 6.3.3 to 6.4.0 and after that we are getting following exception. We have 1 admin host (test1) and 2 hosts (test11, test21). The admin host and 1 of the is not patched yet. We patched test21 only.
