How to change DSCP class for QOS?
Issue
- How to configure the Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) value for network QoS?
- How to change the Type of Service (TOS) field in the IP header?
- We’ve been asked by the networking teams to start setting a DiffServ value in our IP headers in order to better prioritize our application traffic during times of network congestion.
- We would like to explore if there is any existing functionality in applications to configure DSCP IP headers for QoS over the network.

- iptables firewall (RHEL 7 and older)
