Why do I fail to get a vmcore when my system panics, despite setting up a remote kdump correctly?

Some network cards take a long time to initialize, and some spanning tree enabled networks do not transmit user traffic for long periods after a link state changes.

If the kdump server is geographically a long distance or is using slow network such as WAN, “ link_delay ” is helpful.
