Getting duplicate mails after getting "cannot open queue" message in Sendmail.

Issue

  • Sometimes getting following error after sending mail:
Jun  4 16:12:20 xxxx sendmail[15973]: s54ECF9J015691: SYSERR(root): readqf: cannot open queue.4/df/dfs54ECF9J015691: No such file or directory

  • After this error, mails are delivering twice.

  • Issue happens randomly on the system.

  • Sendmail
