Disable overscan on external HDMI monitor on Lenovo T530 Laptop
Issue
An external display connected via a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, to a HDMI Television versus an HDMI Monitor, will default to overscan mode. This will result in lost image area that is "off-screen"
Environment
- Lenovo T530 Laptop (Intel HD 3000 graphics)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.5
