RHEV Hypervisor host will not activate after upgrading to rhevh-6.5

Issue

  • RHEV-H based hypervisor will not activate after upgrading to rhevh-6.5 and continually fails and goes into Non-Responsive state.
  • After upgrading from RHEV-3.2 based hypervisors to RHEV-3.4 based hypervisors, they wont activate.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.4, 3.3, 3.2
  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor (RHEV-H) version rhevh-6.5-20140603.2
  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor (RHEV-H) version rhevh-6.5-20140408.0
