JON Does not display the correct version for EAP 6 instances in the discovery queue when getVersion() is invoked

Issue

Using the API, invoking resource.getVersion() for an EAP instance, in the discovery queue, does not show the correct EAP version.

If the resource is imported via the JON GUI, with the appropriate security credentials set, after a few minutes, the EAP version is shown when you click on

JBossAS7 Standalone Server
├── EAP (127.0.0.1:10090)

And then click on arrow next to the gear-logo >

Is there a way to get this information for instances still in the discovery queue?

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (JON)
    • 3.1.2
    • Plugin for JBoss Enterprise Application Platform(EAP) 6
      • Standalone mode
    • new resources still in the discovery queue
