What is impact of reusing KnowledgePackages in JBoss Rules 5 ?

JBoss Rules 5reference guide [1] , there is a statement (see link below):
A Knowledge Package instance cannot be reused once it's added to the Knowledge Base. If you need to add it to another Knowledge Base, serialize it and use the "cloned" result.
What are the potential side effects of reusing KnowledgePackages ?
