Why do some processes stall in S or D state when I am running LAuS (auditd)?

The auditd process' function is to prevent loss of records. This is the normal behaviour of LAuS (auditd). When it encounters an error writing log files or with notifications, it suspends itself, resulting in the suspension of nearly all processes that have not been audited as of yet.
